Traverse around the coast examining the magnificently exposed Torridonian rocks; probably the best small area for sedimentary rocks, structures and facies in the British Isles and includes the oldest unaltered sedimentary succession in Britain. Packed lunch required.

Believe it or not - this is a conglomerate! Some of the boulders formed from the Rudha Beag sandstone are up to 10m across.
