Sole structures in the almost vertically bedded turbidite sandstones and mudstones of Silurian age at Bush Green Quarry, Foxfield near Broughton-in-Furness. The quarry is some 70 metres across and 10 metres high. There are more than 1800 sole structures, mainly flute and load casts covering six bedding planes.
